Scope of Cover

Comprehensive motor vehicle insurance policies can offer token cover for personal items and tools used in the course of the vehicle owner’s trade. This was nowhere near adequate when the average value of the tools carried in a vehicle of our clients’ is around $10,000.

What Happened?

In February 2020 one of our client’s vehicles was broken into whilst parked at their private residence. All work tools, equipment and other personal items were stolen in the early hours of the morning.
