DIRECTOR
Peter Vickers
BSc
BEc FCA
Peter studied at the University of Sydney
and enjoyed university life so much that he completed two degrees. He is
a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia, the
Taxation Institute of Australia, the Corporate Directors Association and
the Australian Institute of Company Directors. Peter is an authorized
representative under the Corporations Act and is licensed to give investment
advice. He is a registered tax agent, a registered company auditor, an
external examiner for the Law Society of NSW and a Justice of the
Peace.
Peter has won various battles over the
years against the Australian Taxation Office and Travel Compensation
Fund. He even convinced the Australian Securities
and Investments Commission that Singapore does not have a separate capital
city.
Peter has three daughters and one granddaughter and he is
a keen skier and accomplished sculptor .

He was
on the Board of Management of his daughters’ school, Masada College for
10 years of which he served three years as honorary treasurer.
PRINCIPAL
Joe Staub
BCom FCA
Joe commenced his working life in the audit division of Arthur Andersen
& Co 1974. He was a founding partner of Gilden Staub & Co (now
Sothertons Sydney) before leaving in 2004 to head up a retail company.
In 2007 he recommenced practice as a Chartered Accountant and merged his
practice with Peter Vickers and Associates on 1 July 2008. Joe is a
registered tax agent and registered company auditor and brings
expertise in taxation planning, small to medium enterprise advisings,
retail and superannuation. In his spare time, Joe enjoys golf and
playing bridge.
CLIENT RELATIONSHIP MANAGERS
Nick Law BCom CA
Nick is a registered tax
agent and holds a practicing certificate from the Institute of
Chartered Accountants in Australia which authorises him to audit
Self- Managed Super Funds. He has many years
experience in public practice working with small to medium sized
enterprises. Before commencing his career in the profession, he
worked for multinational companies in the areas of accounting,
tax and superannuation. Nick is committed to providing quality
services to our clients.
Pablo Urbano
MCom
BeCom CA
Pablo has completed a Bachelor of Electronic Commerce majoring in
Finance, as well as a Masters of Commerce majoring in Professional
Accounting. Prior to joining PVA, he worked with a Chartered Accounting
firm in Brisbane.
Pablo is a registered tax agent.
Ann Nguyen
BBus CPA
Ann completed
her Bachelor of Business, majoring in Accounting in 1998 from the
University of Technology, Sydney and is a CPA. She has worked in public
practice in the
roles of tax agent, assistant accountant and senior accountant and
brings expertise in superannuation, preparation of financial statements
and tax returns.
Cathy Stockwell BCom CA
Cathy
completed her Bachelor of Commerce at the University of Queensland.
Since beginning her career with Arthur Andersen & Co in taxation she has
worked for large second tier firms such as William Buck and Johnston
Rorke in the business services area. She also gained experience in the
commercial sector as Financial Controller of a joint venture in the
sugar industry. At PVA, Cathy is using her expertise in taxation to
provide tax advice to individuals, companies and family trusts.
Cathy
is also an active member of the Lindfield community and the schools
attended by her children.

Debritu Rosenbaum
Adv Dip Acc
Debritu received an advanced diploma in Accounting from Northern Sydney
Institute of TAFE in 2003.
She is a registered tax agent and specialises in the preparation of individual tax returns.
Kurinchi Nallanthuwan BSc(Hons) MProf Acc
Kurinchi received a Bachelor of Science (Hons) from the
University of London in 2003 and completed his Masters in Professional
Accounting in 2005. Kurinchi has two years of experience working in
commercial accounting as well as in public practice, coming to Peter
Vickers & Associates after working with KPMG in Sri Lanka.
Rekha Lokuketagoda BCom Dip.
Business
Rekha completed a Bachelor
of Commerce degree, majoring in Accounting, at Sydney's Macquarie
University and a Diploma of Business at the Australian College of
Business and Technology in Sri Lanka. Apart from accounting, Rekha
enjoys music and acting.
Harry Grewal BBus
Harry studied for his Bachelor of Business Degree, majoring in
Accounting, at ACU National University. He has over four years of
experience working in public practice with a range of clients - from
small to large and in a variety of different industries. Harry is
currently studying to obtain his CA qualification.
Shawn Sor BSc MProf Acct
Shawn completed his
Bachelor of Computing Science and Master in Professional Accounting at
the University of New South Wales. Shawn has experience in internal
audit from Malaysia and he is currently studying to obtain his CA
qualifications. Besides accounting, Shawn enjoys badminton and building
computer systems.
Rohan Manokaran CA BCom
Rohan is a Member of the
Institute of Chartered Accountants and completed his Bachelor
of Commerce degree, majoring in Professional Accounting, at Macquarie
University, Sydney. He is a registered tax agent and has over 6 years experience, working with
both small and large clients, focusing mainly on tax and business
services.
Luis Martinez
MCom
Luis is primarily responsible for our clients corporate compliance work
and since coming to Sydney in 2007, has completed his Masters of
Commerce (Finance) and Masters of Professional Accounting at the
University of Sydney. Following his first degree, a Bachelor of
Economics (University of Belgrano, Buenos Aires) he gained 10 years
experience in business management in the digital printing and health
care industries.
Andrew Poon BCom
Andrew completed his Bachelor of Commerce degree, majoring in
Professional Accounting at Sydney's Macquarie University. Prior to this
he completed a Diploma of Commerce at the Sydney Institute of Business
and Technology. Andrew is currently working towards his CA
qualifications and is a keen soccer player in his spare time.
Abhi Sood BCom
Abhi has completed his Bachelor of Commerce degree at Macquarie
University and now assists colleagues with the preparation of individual tax
returns and business activity statements. He is also the administrator
of Lindfield Share Investment Club whose members are employees of PVBG. He is a member of the
humanitarian affairs team which is part of the Global Leadership Programme, though which he attended a UN conference in Bangkok,
highlighting issues such as child-trafficking, poverty and hunger in
developing countries. His hobbies are cricket and soccer. He
supports Manchester United.
Stephen Freedman B.Ec BBA
Stephen has many years experience in the accountancy profession, in a
variety of roles, serving a diverse client base. His clients at
PVA benefit from this expertise in his preparation of financial
statements and tax returns; provision of taxation advice;
budgeting and cash flows; business valuations; buying and selling
businesses; management accounting and tax planning. Stephen has
experience in preparing both Canadian and United States tax returns.
WORK FLOW MANAGER
Naomi Brandon
BA
Naomi obtained her degree majoring in Textiles and Design & Technology
at the Australian Catholic University. Before going on maternity leave
Naomi managed a number of Lincraft stores taking each store to the top
position in the chain. After managing up to 30 staff in a store she
believes managing 20 accountants is a breeze. Naomi has a daughter Kayla
and son Jayden.

IN BANGALORE, INDIA
Due to
the shortage of suitable experienced accountants in Australia, we
have four
dedicated Chartered Accountants working in our office in Bangalore. They
are under the supervision of Ramesh Adiga who is a member of the
National Institute of Accountants (Australia) from which he holds a
practicing certificate which allows him to audit Self Managed

Dennymon received
a Bachelor of Science degree from Mahatma Gandhi University in 1997 and
became a Chartered Accountant with ICAI in 2004.
Rathnakumar Ramdas
BCom
Rathnakumar completed
his articled training with a Chartered Accountant in Public Practice
and is close to achieving his CA qualifications with ICAI, having
completed his CA intermediate and being awarded his "Accounting
Technician" certificate. He is also studying for his MBA Finance
Distance Learning. In addition to the above he gained 3 years
experience as an accountant servicing a range of clients and now
uses his expertise at BOSS to assist with the finalization of
accounts and preparation of tax returns. Rathnakumar was
married in 2009. He and his wife are now happily
expecting their first baby.
Malleshwaran
Meganathan BCom MCom
Malleshwaran has now
completed his CA Intermediate from ICAI and holds his "Accounting
Technician" Certificate. He has recently completed his MBA
Finance and awaits the results. Before joining BOSS, Malleshwaran
had an accountancy position in which he gained valuable experience
whilst working for a broad range of clients. At BOSS he uses this
expertise in the preparation of tax returns and the finalization of
accounts for clients. Malleshwaran is fond of cricket and Adam
Gilchrist is his favorite player. He was married in 2006 and has a
son named Mohit.

Simon is the Managing Director of PVIB
and has been
in the Insurance industry for over 20 years. He is a Senior Associate of the Australian Insurance Institute, a Certified Insurance
Professional and a Justice of the Peace.
Simon's hands
on personal approach and excellent negotiation skills ensure our clients
of the best value products tailored individually to their needs. Simon can
provide expert assistance in the placement of all general insurance
products with all commercial lines of insurance his forte.

Beverley McKenna
Bev is highly
experienced in the insurance broking industry. She began working in the industry in 1980 after returning from 3 years of living in Europe. She
took time out briefly in 1987 to spend some time with her 2 young
children.

Roisin Medin
Roisin has a strong background in
Insurance Broking with expertise in most lines of insurance including
Domestic, Commercial, Trade Insurance, Liability, Professional Indemnity
and Marine Insurance.
Roisin has devoted her career to the
Insurance Industry and enjoys the challenge of broking the "hard to
place" cover for our clients.
Caren Kruger

Caren graduated
from the University of the Witwatersrand with a Bachelor of Arts degree.
Her background is Insurance and she was worked extensively in insurance
broking environments. Caren's ability to liaise with clients and exceed
their expectations is highly valued.
Genevieve Aytona
BBA
Genevieve has completed a
Diploma in Hotel Management and Bachelor of Business Administration (Hons) degree
from HMS 'Les Roches' in Switzerland. After one year with us in the role of
administration assistant, Genevieve joined our insurance team.
Shannan Cummings
Shannon is the team
administrator and also has responsibility for managing our online
quotation request system. She is currently studying with the Australian
and New Zeal Institute of Insurance and Finance to gain her
accreditation by ASIC as PS146 compliant and at the same time for her
Certificate 3 in Business. These qualifications, combined with the
knowledge she is gaining in the insurance broking industry, will enable
her to offer our clients sound advice on the most appropriate insurance
to suit their needs. Shannan previously worked in retail where she
developed good communication and customer service skills and studied
mechanics at TAFE.

Hilton Woolf BA DipFP
Hilton is an Authorised Representative of
Peter Vickers Investment Services. Drawing on over 25 years of
experience in the finance and insurance industries, he is able to offer
a range of services and products tailored to the individual's needs.
Hilton has a Bachelor of Accounting Science from the University of South
Africa, a Diploma in Financial Planning from Deakin University and is a
fully certified Financial Planner in Australia.
Agnes Mock
BEc CPA
Agnes completed her Bachelor of Economics (Accounting) at Sydney
University prior to working in various accounting firms and the oil
industry. She is responsible for member and employer relations for the Lindfield Superannuation Fund and also acts as administrator for clients
using our Virtual Broker facilities. Having taken time out to raise her two children, Agnes has now
returned to the workforce on a part-time basis. She completed a Diploma
in Financial Service (Financial Planning) with FINSIA in 2006 and in her
spare time learns dancing and porcelain painting.

Mook Clifford

Mook leads our bookkeeping
division. She is also the
group's bookkeeper and brings experience and a strong background of
bookkeeping and accounting processes to the role. Mook completed a
Bachelor of Business Administration at Thammasat University in Bangkok,
Thailand and is currently studying towards an Advanced Diploma of
Accounting.

Michele Brownsberger

Michele has been
involved in the Human Resources industry for 10 years, including
experience with Large Organisations, Local
Government and Small Business. She is currently working on the group's How Now
business system and the development of our compliance and quality
control procedures. Michele holds a Bachelor of Social Science which
she received from the University of New England and a Masters in
Teaching from the University of Sydney.
Idana Katz
BSocSci(SW), PGDip HR Management, Honours Psychology
Idana is a registered Social Worker
and a member of the Australian Human Resources Institute. After
practising as a Social Worker she moved into Human Resources and has
over 11 years experience in this field. Having managed the HR Department
of a large listed company, Idana took a sabbatical to have her first
child and has returned to the workforce with the Peter Vickers Business
Group in the capacity of HR Manager.
Mohammad Rintu
BIS, DipNetEng
Mohammad is the group's IT
manager and looks after all IT operations in PVBG. He offers
excellent analytical and problem solving skills with his expertise on
Windows based servers and systems. He holds a Bachelor of
Information Systems from Australian Catholic University, a Diploma of Network Engineering
and is a
member of the Australian Computer Society.
Kathryn Maguire BA (Hons)
PGDip.Marketing
Kathryn is PVBG's Marketing Manager. When she joined
the group she had been running her own marketing consultancy in Sydney.
She relocated from London to Sydney in 2002 with her family. She
completed a BA in Economics and Geography at London University's School
of Oriental and African Studies followed by a postgraduate diploma in
marketing. Over 15 years she has marketed a range of products and
services including those of a professional services firm in London.
